I haven't had the product very long but it seems to work just fine. Nice long cable and the detachable power input is nice. Now to see if it lasts longer than the original power supply that came with my eeePc.

It is smaller than the original which I like. The cords are long though which is good. My original just stopped working. This one has as many hours. It must be better.

First of all the charger I received was white, despite it being black in the picture. Thankfully I didn't mind, but most of the time when I go to plug it in there's small visible and audible sparks between the prongs and most outlets I've used. The same usually happens if the 2nd part of the cord connecting to the box(don't know the name for it)comes loose and I have to reconnect it. Because of being frequently bent (my own fault) where it connects to the laptop the cord split exposing some wires and makes it so I have to have it at just the right angle to get a charge connection. I won't buy another one from this same source because I'd rather not worry if stray sparks from plugging it into an outlet will electrocute me.

I bought this to replace my original brick after my dog decided to chew on it. I have had this for months, and it works great. Shipped quickly and performs great. Doesn't get as hot as the original.

This is a somewhat older model than the 1005 and has a smaller battery: 2 cell as opposed to 6. The 2 cell battery on one or two test runs seems to last 2 3/4 hours with continuous moderate use. Have read that the 6 cell sticks out the bottom and creates a fulcrum that makes the computer backheavy. As a result it tends to tip over if not on a level surface.
Hard drive is partitioned into C and D drives for an extra OS -- useless for me.
They moved the right shift key way right and shrunk it to accomodate the up arrow button, which is annoying--but not unique. I think that the 1005 doesn't have this problem. Also the keys are labelled in a thin light blue text which isn't super visible.
Wireless works nicely. Like the 1005HA-PU1X-BK -- but not the matte screen 1005HA-VU1X -- has Bluetooth which I haven't tried.
Touch pad works well, with two fingers you can scroll up and down and side to side. Options for three finger controls too-- though the magnify option doesn't seem to work.
What this machine does have over its siblings is practical aethetics. I was on the brink of buying the 1005HA-PU1X-BK until I saw it in the store. Glossy plastic that shows smudges and to my taste looks cheap. The 1002ha has a dark brushed metal lid and interior (the exception being a glossy screen frame). The screen is matte, which I like too. The August $50 rebate helped too.
If you don't mind a glossy plastic case and screen, and don't use your netbook on you lap, you probably should go for the 1005ha-pu.

Nice compact Netbook..StarOffice is pretty much worthless. You really need the Microsoft Office packages in order to use documents imported to the Netbook..The RAM was upgraded to 2GB but it only reads 1GB.

This netbook has worked out fine. The keyboard is surprisingly adequate, the track pad works fine (though I often use an external mouse), the screen is fine... Of course it's a very slow computer, but that's expected.

The packaging was unusually nice too -- I almost felt like it was an Apple product. The package includes a nice carrying sleeve, and the power cords have nice Velcro ties.

i recieved my asus 1002h, been using it for 2 days and i am simply in love with it. It beats my hp mini 110 in ways i cannot explain

yes mine came with a defective speaker witch will be replaced but the rest just amazing first of all the shift key is in its proper place, i have a island keyboard since this model has 2 type of keyboards. The 2 cell battery managed to get 4h out of its charge witch beats my hp mini 110 3 cell 2h 30 min use. as for performance it does everything very well i even can play Sim 3 without problems

I can say the overall design great the screen amazing and very bright.

the only con is the ugly glossy bezel that should of been aluminim brushed and thiner it looks so fat appart that nothing to complain i give it a 5 star
and the speakers could sound better but that a small detail

i work mainly with a motorola ML 900 rugged device so for me this unit is very business feel, People around me all comment on how sexy it looks.
I've owned this netbook for a couple months now and absolutely love it! However, I am just recently noticing a delay when I type. Sometimes I have to type very slowly in order to produce a word, and retype a letter a couple of times. Of course, as Murphy's Law will have it, as I type this review I am having no problems at all with the keyboard. Anyway, it hasn't been the biggest problem...yet. Just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this.

Pros:
VERY LIGHT!
Beautiful design
Very fast connecting to internet
Speakers suprisingly good (for a small netbook)
Am liking Star Office
Screen very clear

Cons:
Possible keyboard issue (will post update in a couple of weeks)
Fairly slow booting up
Dust Monster (but you can just purchase a microfiber cloth)

All and all, I love this netbook. I can pop this baby into my purse, head off for the day and not even notice the weight. I would highly recommend this netbook.

Pros:
VERY LIGHT!
Beautiful design
Very fast connecting to internet
Speakers suprisingly good (for a small netbook)
Am liking Star Office
Screen very clear

Cons:
Possible keyboard issue (will post update in a couple of weeks)
Fairly slow booting up
Dust Monster (but you can just purchase a microfiber cloth)

All and all, I love this netbook. I can pop this baby into my purse, head off for the day and not even notice the weight. I would highly recommend this netbook.

I have a newer Asus 1005HA netbook and I thought that this power cord would work with it. Just an FYI to others... it *does not* fit properly, different plug size. ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BU 10.1-Inch Blue Netbook - 10.5 Hour Battery Life
